Neil is one of the partners at Broadgate Wealth Client Servicing and is responsible for the day to day running of the business as well as advising clients.

Neil began his career with Abbey Life and at the age of 19 was their youngest registered financial adviser. Neil began his IFA career soon after Abbey life disbanded their sales force, working within a number of national IFA firms before forming Broadgate Financial Management in 2006 with his father Alan.

In his spare time Neil enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and his dogs. Neil also has an interest in renovating classic cars.

Alan has industry experience spanning 35 years. Alan was the founder of Broadgate Financial Management in 2006 before handing over the running of the company to his son Neil. Alan has now fully retired from the advice side of the business and is overseeing the companies compliance function.

Alan began his career with Abbey Life and achieved Chairman’s Club status in his time with the company making him one of Abbey Life’s most successful financial advisers. Alan joined Allied Dunbar following the closure of Abbey Life. After 2 years with Allied Dunbar Alan and Neil began working together again in the IFA sector working within a number of national IFA firms.

In his spare time Alan enjoys travelling and adventuring, spending time with his wife and family and goes on regular hill walks.

Stephen gained his qualifications in 2006. Stephen works with a wide range of clients from corporate entities to farmers and landowners.

Stephen is married with 2 teenage children and in his spare time likes watching his local rugby team play at the weekend and occasionally will pop and watch the Boro.

David joined the industry in 2005 as a financial adviser for the Co-Op and then joined Halifax in 2007, where he spent a successful 8 years mainly working in their flagship Metrocentre branch. 

His spare time is mainly spent with his wife and two young boys, but he does find time to keep fit and particularly enjoys running.

Phil has 16 years’ experience in the financial services industry and is now in his 6^th year of financial planning. Phil advises clients from all walks of life, mainly in the North East.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, visiting theme parks and going on holiday both internationally and to lodges in the UK.

Dan has worked in the Financial Services Sector since 2016, prior to which he worked as a Steelworker at SSI in Redcar. He specialises in Pension & Investment advice and focuses on positive human outcomes for clients and their families.

In his spare time he is a father of 3, plays bass guitar in an indie rock band and enjoys watching the odd football match.

Michael began his career with CIS over 20 years ago. He has been an independent financial adviser since 2006 and his aim is to help people understand their financial makeup and the options available to them in an easy to understand manner.

Michael is a family man and likes to play guitar in his spare time.

Tom joined Broadgate in 2019 and is the firm’s most experienced Paraplanner. Tom started his career in Financial Services in 2017 and his father has his own practice in Tom’s native Nottingham.

In his spare time Tom likes spending time with his kids and is an avid football fan.

Jack is is a valued member of the Paraplanning team and Neil’s go to man. Jack has a 1^st Class Honours degree in accountancy and finance but decided that a career in Financial Services was going to be his chosen path.

In his spare time he enjoys watching football with his favourite team being Hartlepool United.

Lucy joined the firm in early 2022 and is an important part of the firm’s highly skilled Paraplanning team.

Outside of work Lucy enjoys attending live music events and is always researching where next she can go on her travels.

Joe is the third generation from the Sheekey family to enter the financial services sector. He has worked his way through administration and support roles at the company in order to gain experience and widen his knowledge to prepare him for more advanced roles in the future. Joe now works exclusively with Neil managing his diary and preparing for and attending client meetings to gain valuable experience. Joe is currently studying for his industry qualifications in preparation for working closely with his father providing advice to clients across the North East and Yorkshire. 

In his spare time Joe enjoys the gym and is a passionate Middlesbrough Football Club supporter.

Andrea started working with Neil and Alan in 2005 as an Administrator, Andrea has worked her way up to being the office Operations Manager.  Andrea oversees the work of others and guides them as and when needed.  Andrea’s duties also include compliance and supporting the pension and mortgage teams with submissions of applications from start to finish.

In her spare time Andrea enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Sheila is a long standing member of the Broadgate administration team and has experience in servicing a wide array of clients and different financial services products. Sheila currently specialises in providing support to a busy Pensions and Investments Team, however, is always happy to share her expertise in other areas if required.

Helen joined the Broadgate team in June 2016.  Helen works as part of a busy Mortgage & Protection Team, making sure the processing of mortgage/protection applications runs smoothly and correctly from start to finish. Helen also collates and reviews paperwork for clients.

Katie joined Broadgate in September 2021 with a good reputation from working in a similar position. Katie works in Broadgate’s busy Mortgage & Protection Team.

After completing training within the firm, Katie was awarded a certificate to provide Mortgage & Protection advice in 2022 and is now providing advice services in this area.
